Discover Scuba Diving from Chania!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater and feel weightless?  If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving gives you the opportunity to try it first.  With over 9500 of our clients taking this PADI course with us since 1994, you can be confident that this experience will be one that you will never forget.

If you decide to take this diving course, you will be transferred from your pick up point to the dive center at appx. 0930 where you will be handed a PADI Discover Scuba Diver Manual which included all the required paperwork, theory and a certification verifying you have completed the course.  After completion of the paperwork, there is a short DVD to watch which explains the basic principles of scuba diving, the equipment, some underwater hand signals and basic diving skills.  Once you are all suited up, your scuba unit will have already been prepared for you to continue on your instruction in the swimming pool for the skills.  When your instructor  is satisfied with your performance and your comfort level being underwater, you will then move on to your actual diving experience in the sea which is only a few meters away.  Your dive there will be at maximum dive depth of 12 meters for 30-45 minutes. ( Instructor per student ration is 3:1)

When you complete this course, you will be transferred to your original pick up/ drop off point.  After this diving experience, you are now ready for the next level of courses; the Scuba Diver or the Open Water Course.

Important Notes

1. Optional use of face covering before boarding on bus and mandatory boarding health declaration questionnaire is required, filled by all adults upon arriving at the diving center, or you can download it here and have it filled before your scuba diving experience
2. The travel agency reserves the right to alter or cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient passengers number or force majeure 12 hours prior to departure time with a notification to the traveler
3. Please arrive on time to the given pick-up point. Unfortunately, there is no option to wait for latecomers. In case of delay, missed pick-up, missed departure time, no refunds
