Hiking at Imbros Gorge from Rethimno!

Duration: 9 hours approximately

A
natural beauty, not as well known as the Samaria gorge, is the magnificent gorge
of Imbros. It is 7 km and easier to walk through. It’s almost parallel to the
Samaria gorge and it takes almost 3 hrs walking. The bus will be waiting for
you at the exit of the gorge at the village of Komitades. our next stop is at a
beautiful beach where you can swim or enjoy a meal at the local taverns. This walk
is suitable for children.

09:00 Arrival at Imbros gorge – free time for coffee and/or breakfast
12:30 Komitades meeting point
12:45 – 15:00 Sfakia

16:30 – 17:45 Arrival at your hotel / pick up point

Remember to bring‼️ Sun Cream, Sunglasses and Hat, Long-Sleeved Shirt for Sensitive skin, Good hiking shoes, Bottle of water and Light Snacks (fruits etc.), Swim Suit and a Beach Towel.

Important Notes

1. The following are prohibited inside the gorge: radios, singing, excessive noise, disposal of rubbish in places other than those provided, smoking anywhere other than the rest points, consumption of alcohol.
2. The travel agency reserves the right to alter or cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient passengers number or force majeure 12 hours prior to departure time with a notification to the traveler.
3. Please arrive on time to the given pick-up point. Unfortunately, there is no option to wait for latecomers. In case of delay, missed pick-up, missed departure time, no refunds.
