Rhodes Highlights Tour! Full Day Tour

Duration: 8 hours approximately – Starting at 09:30 am / Ending at 17:30 pm

Visit the highlights of Rhodes Island in just one day!!!

Our guests will start their excursion, at the historical Kallithea Thermes, famed for its spring water where we will have free time to explore the place. After that we will continue our tour through a visit of Mandraki harbor where we will have the opportunity to view the beauty of the last part of the west side of the island, and towards the Ancient stadium of the temple of Apollo just for a photo stop. After a short drive to the west coast, we  continue the tour up at Filerimos hill, where our quests will visit the monastery of our Lady and the remains of the Ancient Acropolis of Ialysos, one of the three ancient cities of Rhodes Island.

Afterwards we will arrive at Apollona village where we are going to visit a small traditional shop where our quests can taste the local spirit “Souma” and then visit the church of Holy Cross and the handmade workshop of the church. After that they have a free time for lunch at a traditional Greek tavern, where they can taste the amazing Greek “meze”. We continue up into the mountain of Profitis Ilias for a coffee break and a photo stop. As they continue driving, they will have the chance to visit the Fountoukli monastery, one of the most famous monasteries of Rhodes. The tour will end at St Nektarios monastery parking.

11:25: Arrival at Filerimos through panoramic tour of Mandraki harbor and towards the Ancient stadium of the temple of Apollo- for photo stop 15 minutes max.
12:25: Departure from Filerimos
13:25: Lunch and free time at Apollona village
15:25: Departure from Apollona village
15:40: Arrival at Profitis Ilias
16:20: Departure from Profitis Ilias
16:35: Arrival at Fountoukli Monastery
16:50: Departure from Fountoukli Monastery
17:15: Arrival at St Nektarios parking

Important Notes

• Minimum Participants 30 pax / In case of insufficient participants number the activity can be rescheduled to a later date, upon agreement of all the participants, or cancelled. In the case of a cancellation, participants will be completely refunded.
• The travel agency reserves the right to alter or cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient passengers number or force majeure 12 hours prior to departure time with a notification to the traveler.
• Please arrive on time to the given pick-up point. Unfortunately, there is no option to wait for latecomers. In case of delay, missed pick-up, missed departure time, no refunds.
